Petita companyia lírica de BCN Romina Krieger, soprano Elke Sanjosé, piano Maria Voronkova, actor and presenter Sound architecture: how is music built? An accessible exploration of musical form through opera and classical music. This concert offers an informative, emotional journey into the inner "architecture" of classical music. Through opera arias, instrumental pieces and explanations pitched to the audience, it shows how composers build their works using musical structures that repeat, evolve and create emotion. Just as a building needs foundations, symmetry, contrast and balance, music is built from forms and patterns too. In an enjoyable, accessible way the audience will learn what a rondo is, and a theme with variations, ABA form, thematic repetition and dramatic contrast within a piece. The show combines clear, participatory music explanation, close-up stage performance, humour and audience interaction, with a well-known and emotionally direct repertoire. With the participation of Zakhar Alkhovik, piano, in the New Performers category
