División Minúscula is one of the key bands in Mexican alternative rock, formed in 1996 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. With a blend of melodic punk, emo and pop rock, they established themselves as leading figures on the scene with albums such as Extrañando Casa (2001) and Defecto Perfecto (2006), which defined an entire generation. Over nearly three decades, they have evolved their sound without losing its emotional essence, remaining relevant with recent releases such as Escombros (2023) and international tours that reaffirm their connection with audiences and their influence on Latin American rock.
