'Gaudí: Finestres al Futur' Exhibition
20 April 2026 – 25 October 2026 · 10:00
Palau Güell, el Raval, Ciutat Vella
Finestres al Futur is an exhibition presented by Palau Güell and YKK AP to mark the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death in 2026. Taking as its starting point a specific and little-studied element of his work, windows, it explores the architect's innovative spirit and creativity, as well as his concept of the total work of art. Coinciding with the exhibition, the former coal-store space will display the results of an international workshop for architecture students from Japan and Catalonia, held in June and July 2025, which sought to develop new ideas for windows based on Gaudí's designs. The exhibition forms part of a broader research and outreach project that includes the publication of a book, installations in other Gaudí buildings and a documentary, among other elements. The project's main page can be accessed through this link.
Part of the programme: Gaudí Year. Any Gaudí: 7 activities in Barcelona, from April 16 to September 30.
