Born in 1974 in New Jersey, United States, Brian Donnelly, alias KAWS, chose his creative moniker based on the visual interaction of the letters. KAWS has one of the most diverse artistic practices among contemporary artists, with examples proudly displayed at the Moco Museum in Barcelona and Amsterdam. Vibrant graphic paintings, sculptures, collectible artworks and unique design pieces mix elements ranging from nostalgic illustration to pop culture. The range of KAWS works that can be discovered in Barcelona is extensive.
