In this activity, we invite you to use one of the creative methods employed by conceptual and minimalist artist Sol LeWitt, as well as other artists, and make variations based on his work Splat. The possibilities are endless! For example, one good method is to seek the final effect of the moving shapes and colours seen in the mural. Dare to try and bring out the artist within you. Splat is a mural painting created by American artist Sol LeWitt in 2011 specifically for the foyer of CaixaForum Barcelona. This work forms part of the Col·lecció d'Art Contemporani de la Fundació "la Caixa". Activity recommended for families with children aged 2 and over.
