Es compta darrere de l'os - Espai de dolor, by artist Joseph Beuys, is a space that calls for contemplation and isolation from the outside world. Hinter dem Knochen wird gezählt - Schmerzraum is one of the foundational works of the Col·lecció d'Art Contemporani Fundació "la Caixa". Acquired in 1985 and permanently installed at CaixaForum Barcelona since 2002, it is one of Joseph Beuys's final works. Beuys was one of the key artists of the second half of the 20th century and an initiator of new avenues of artistic exploration that became essential to the development of contemporary art.
