Fundació KIMbcn presents the Tecnologia en tensió 2026 series at CaixaForum Macaya, a space for reflection analysing, from human, social and economic perspectives, the tensions that arise when technology advances faster than our collective capacity to adapt. PROGRAMME. Thursday 12 March at 18:30 - “STEM in Deficit. The Fragile Foundation of the Technological System”. This session addresses the shortage of scientific and technological professionals as one of the main weaknesses in today's technological system. Monday 4 May at 18:30 - “Talent Management in the Age of AI. People, AI and Operational Continuity”. This session analyses how organisations managing long-lived systems and infrastructure are dealing with the introduction of artificial intelligence in a context of generational change. Thursday 8 October at 18:30 - “Critical Data and Risk Management. Decision-making in Contexts of High Uncertainty”. This session analyses the role of data and predictive models in anticipating risks in urban and territorial systems exposed to climate change, urban pressure and the growing vulnerability of infrastructure.
