Ventura Profana, vocals and performance. Ventura Profana is a Brazilian singer, composer, writer and visual artist from Bahia. Her work connects contemporary Brazilian music, gospel, sound experimentation and performance with artistic research into spirituality, the body, and Black and travesti experiences. Her international career includes projects presented at the Venice Biennale, the São Paulo Biennial and MASP, among other institutions and cultural spaces. For this concert she presents an intimate 60-minute format with voice and guitar, foregrounding her vocal power, original compositions and the performative dimension of her work. Standing concert.
