"Art Nou 2026" Closing Event

On Thursday 3 September at 19:00, La Capella hosts the closing event of the 15th edition of Art Nou, Barcelona and L'Hospitalet's emerging art festival, organised by the Art Barcelona. Galeries association. The event will take place at La Capella from 19:00 and will feature the action Cos estrany by Alicia Val. The proposal presents a cosmological fiction in which the human and the spherical blur together through movement. It is presented in collaboration with Club9. Afterwards, the Premi Art Nou 2026 will be presented with Quico Peinado —president of Art Barcelona—, David Armengol —artistic director of La Capella— and Pilar Cruz —director of the Art Nou festival—. For this edition, the jury comprises Carlos Muñoz —collector—, Mariona Moncunill —member of La Capella's curatorial team— and Lorena Pizarro —Seltz by Ritter Ferrer gallery—. Cos estrany. When a foreign element enters a dimension that does not fully recognise it, the notion of what is internal is altered and the boundaries between the two parts begin to blur.
