Artem Zhulyev, saxophone · Xavier Algans, piano · Jordi Mestres, double bass · Marc Dino Gómez, drums. Artem Zhulyev Quartet is an original project led by saxophonist Artem Zhulyev. It was born from the need to create a musical space of its own: a sonic territory where each composition opens a door to new imaginary landscapes and builds a soundtrack for the listener's thoughts, memories and emotions. Through original pieces, the quartet draws soundscapes combining the depth of contemporary jazz with the freedom of improvisation and a highly personal melodic identity. Each piece begins with an inner story: moments of contemplation, urban pulses, breathing silences and bursts of energy that enter into dialogue with one another.
