Fito Páez, one of the undisputed icons of Spanish-language rock and popular music, returns to Barcelona for one of the festival's most exclusive and eagerly awaited events. This time, the brilliant Argentine musician temporarily sets aside the electricity of large venues to strip his art back on the magnificent stage of Palau de la Música Catalana, offering an intimate and moving solo piano-and-voice recital. With more than four decades of an impeccable career behind him, the Rosario-born creator is responsible for timeless anthems that form part of the collective memory of several generations. The author of El amor después del amor —the best-selling album in the history of Argentine rock—, Páez has moved between raw poetry, melodic clarity and creative nonconformity, earning unanimous industry recognition and multiple Grammy Awards. This concert is an exceptional acoustic interlude in his schedule, a unique opportunity to discover his songs in their purest form, as they were born in the intimacy of his studio.
