La Rumba Party is an open musical jam inspired by Cuban rumba, led by Daymé Arocena. Starting from her repertoire, it creates a meeting point where musicians, singers and music lovers can improvise, share and let themselves be carried away by the rhythm. A group of rumberos and a harmonic section lay down the groove, creating the perfect energy for anyone to join in and generate the flavour. But La Rumba Party is much more than a party: it is a celebration of Cuban culture, its roots and the power of rumba as the heart of the island's music. It is a space to meet, dance, sing, play and enjoy together. In short: a huge rumba party where everyone is invited. Nominated for Best Latin Jazz Album at the 2025 Grammys. Nominated for Song of the Year at the 2024 Latin Grammys. Her last performance in Barcelona was at Primavera Sound in 2019. Standing concert.
