Michael Pipoquinha, vocals and bass · Thiago Almeida, keyboards · Mamah Soares, percussion · Renato Galv, drums. With the release of his new album Minha Pele, bassist, singer and composer Michael Pipoquinha begins a European tour taking him to the United Kingdom, Austria, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Poland and Spain. Widely recognised for his virtuosic command of the bass and musical sensitivity, Michael Pipoquinha presents the most ambitious project of his career: a new album made entirely of original compositions, marking his debut as a singer and songwriter and reflecting his personal and artistic journey. With meticulous production, Minha Pele features special appearances by leading international figures including legendary bassists John Patitucci, Richard Bona and Victor Wooten, who have said that Michael Pipoquinha has “taken the bass to another level”. The new tour offers a unique concert featuring tracks from the new album, reinterpretations and, of course, spectacular improvisations, accompanied by an exceptional band. Standing concert.
