Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, el Besòs i el Maresme, Sant Martí
Display cases in the entrance hall of Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona at Parc del Fòrum contain information about Catalonia's natural-science museums and institutions, a group of local, county and supra-municipal centres holding collections from disciplines such as botany, zoology, geology and palaeontology. They are a fundamental resource for the study, conservation and promotion of heritage within their territories. Specifically, the displays explain the mission, collections and research projects of these institutions and exhibit selected representative objects from their holdings that have been loaned to the Museu.
