This event has already taken place.
4 April 2026 – 20 August 2026 · 11:00
CaixaForum Barcelona, la Font de la Guatlla, Sants-Montjuïc
Can the structure supporting a chair support a house? Would a house stand up with cork or cardboard walls? In this workshop you are invited to experiment with structures and covering pieces based on the work of Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand to create furniture and small living spaces. Think, choose, combine and experiment with all the possibilities offered by these ingenious, simple elements that revolutionised 20th-century architecture and design and still have much to contribute today in your hands. It is in your hands. Jocs de construcció is a series of three workshops combining play and creation to discover the basics of disciplines linked to construction, such as architecture, design, engineering and urban planning. Recommended for families with children aged 5 and over.
Part of the programme: Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026. Barcelona Capital Mundial de l'arquitectura 2026: 20 activities in Barcelona, from February 19 to December 31.
