'La Capella: 600 Years in the Raval' Exhibition

With the establishment of the democratic city council, this space developed a stable programme of art exhibitions. Since 1994, La Capella has focused its efforts on promoting new work by emerging artists from the city. Through its free exhibitions, La Capella has brought the work of new artists, curators, critics and other contemporary art and culture professionals closer to the general public and local residents. It is a space where citizens can engage with new artistic trends through initiatives such as BCN Producció, which since 2006 has encouraged artist participation by providing the support needed to connect innovative artistic proposals with the public.
