The permanent exhibition at Museu d'Història de Catalunya, "La memòria d'un país", presents the thousand-year history of the men and women who have lived in the lands we now know as Catalonia. Visitors can discover first-hand the roots of our history, how our nation was born and expanded, its periods of prosperity and decline and its development through to the present day. Numerous sets and interactive elements also allow visitors to approach it in a playful and participatory way.
