Led by Raquel Tomàs, a doctor specialising in Family and Community Medicine. In addition to explaining what a stroke is, the different types of stroke, the main risk factors and what can be done to prevent them, the main aims of this talk are to explain which symptoms should make us suspect a stroke, raise awareness of the need for immediate transfer to a hospital emergency department, and explain why this speed is essential.
