Diferents comerços dels 10 districtes de Barcelona
To mark World Architecture Day and as part of Barcelona 2026, World Capital of Architecture, we want to turn Barcelona into a big temporary exhibition of architectural models spread across all the city's shops that wish to take part. Shops are invited to host, for one week, models lent by Barcelona architecture practices and architects. The aim is to bring architecture closer to people through local shops, temporarily turning shop windows and counters into small exhibition spaces each showing an architectural model. For architecture practices and architects, it is an important way to reach local residents, raise their profile and show their work. The initiative brings together two exceptional celebrations: Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture and the European Capital of Local Commerce.
