Architectures of the Soul Works by: J. Brahms, L. Janáček and F. Liszt Performer: J. M. Almiron On 29 October the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona presents Architectures of the Soul, a piano recital inviting the audience into some of the most intense emotional landscapes of the European repertoire. The concert is given by J. M. Almiron, performing works by Johannes Brahms, Leoš Janáček and Franz Liszt, three composers who explored music as a form of deep expression of emotion, memory and imagination. Although they belong to different contexts and sensibilities, their works share an extraordinary communicative power and great richness of nuance. Through this programme the audience can discover different ways of conceiving piano language, from Brahms's expressive density to Janáček's poetic intensity and Liszt's visionary virtuosity.
Part of the programme: 'Thursday Concert' Series. See the 4 activities in this programme in Barcelona, from October 15 to November 5. All free.
