Discover the evolution of musical-instrument makers, from guilds to workshops. A country of luthiers and musicians: that is one way Catalonia could be described when we look back over the long history of those who make many different types of musical instruments. This exhibition offers a look at different branches of luthiery within a historical continuum, ending with an introduction to some workshops still active today. A discovery of a high-quality craft, artistic and technological profession that fascinates us and makes us proud.
