What to do in Les Corts
Les Corts brings together two things that rarely go together: the Camp Nou, which changed the whole neighbourhood from 1957, and the monastery of Pedralbes, from 1327, with the best-preserved three-storey Gothic cloister in the city. In between it is a quiet residential neighbourhood with the university inside it. If you have a few hours, they stretch to both, and to the gardens.
Les Corts is a district of Barcelona: it covers 3 administrative neighbourhoods.

Get to know Les Corts
From farmyards to the Camp Nou, in three steps.
It was a separate town until 1897 and it was farmland: «les corts» were the pens of the farmhouses that stood here.
The Camp Nou opened in 1957 and reshaped the whole area; the club was already in Les Corts, in a far smaller ground.
The 1327 Pedralbes monastery keeps a three-storey Gothic cloister and is the best-preserved medieval complex in the city.
