What to do in El Clot
El Clot is a hollow, literally: the neighbourhood sits in a dip where the water of the plain used to gather. The railway split it in two from 1854, and covering the tracks in the eighties gave it back a park built on the ground of an old factory. Next to it is Glòries, where Cerdà wanted to put the centre of the city. If you have a few hours, it is a village square and a market with the new city pressed against it.
